The Blog Hop Continues!
Wednesday, September 11, 2013I've been sewing some of the blocks from the Moda blog hop. I love the small 6" ones. They go together so easily!
The fresh blue prints from Nature's Basket look crisp and clean.
I had to show a bit of stitching I've been working on each night as I watch TV. One row a night....(This sampler is from Chessie and Me. I purchased it at market - Janet Reid 1835 Sampler. This piece is done with Gentle Arts wool floss, and stitches up like a dream.
The heart fabric above is from our Blueberry Crumbcake line. If you want to set the blocks on the diagonal this sweet heart block won't work, but I can see a baby quilt of these easily pieced heart blocks.
Here's the schedule for the remainder of the week. Don't forget to come back here on the 13th!
Until later!
Alma

thx for the heads up on the blocks --- all your blocks are wonderful, and especially like the heart block. It is so lovely.

ReplyDeleteLove the blues you used for your pattern. Love all your patterns. I'm working on your Quilting the Garden book now and love it. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting work is always so beautiful. I love the blue runner, the fabric is so fresh looking.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your block! Simple and straightforward. But since size does matter...I'll probably "biggie size" it! But if I win the jelly rolls, I solemnly promise to at least make one six incher from each. =D

ReplyDeleteLove your blue and white collection! Thanks for offering some to a lucky winner!
ReplyDeleteI love blues and browns together. I too love the look of intricately pieced blocks with small pieces, but it sure takes a lot to cover a bed. Sort of like christmas decorations. It takes a lot of small ones to cover a tree, but fewer large ones.
ReplyDeleteLove your new line of fabrics, especially the blues! Luann from North Dakota
ReplyDeleteYou know what.?? these all are very lovely..
