We released this pattern at the Nashville cross stitch market in a limited edition kit. This small design was inspired by Mary Evan's sampler, a portion of which is shown below.



We purchased this sampler several years ago. I couldn't take my eyes away from the baskets in a row when Barb and I first found it. I love the "fruit baskets gone wild" look!

She added another initial and repositioned the vintage button. Isn't her's sweet? Love the pin cube too! Congratulations on your finish Margaret!


 Debbie Wick finished the bed/tablerunner from our quilt book Weekend.
She writes, "I haven't written to you in a long time. I've been busy making this beautiful bed runner you designed! It was so pretty I decided to temporarily put it on my dining room table. 
     I am teaching a class and have kitted the whole thing up for each student in class.  I have nine ladies taking the class the first week of April. Thought you would like to hear.
     Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve for this year!"

    Good to hear from you and to see some photos from people who are better at finishing projects than I am!

    I'm going to start Wild Garden this weekend - Hermit & Stitch Weekend, you know. I've got lots of Blueberry Crumbcake here, but have only made a couple of small items so far. I would love to be in that class for the bed runner!

    Oh my gosh, that sampler!!!!!!! Oh please say you are going to reproduce it? Please??? Please? I'd love to have an opportunity to stitch that one! Of course, I know I'd enjoy seeing designs based on it as well -- like the one I just stitched. lol! Lovely table runner from Debbie too. Thanks for showing my work on your blog!

    The chart for Mary Evans is not available. We have only done the middle basket. We might do another portion of it later.

    Love this basket...so sorry to have missed nashville. My son had open heart surgery December 28th, he is doing fine now. Hope to make it next year.

    It is so wonderful to see others works on your projects! they are beautiful and I love the patterns. I just picked up the recent Garden book and plan on making your pressed flowers pattern.

    That sampler is so yummy, I can't stand it. however, I M CURRENTLY WORKING ON AT LEAST FOUR bLACKBIRD QUILTS, SO have no time for stitching. Birds of a feather is the quilt du jour, how gorgeous is that QUILT!!!!

    beautiful chart... by the way, know you used crushed walnut shells for stuffing, but how do you keep it from seeping thru the linen pin cushions, fobs, etc? i have found some at pet supply locally, but it is extremely fine, can't figure how to use it.

    Hi Linda,

    We use lightweight fusible interfacing with all of our pincushions. We iron it onto the reverse side of the linen and backing fabric. It keeps all of the filling inside the pincushion.
